Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 6:40.

Resident Council coordinator Eileen Tittle was in attendance.

The Pledge of Allegiance was said.

Secretary's Report

The minutes from the November meeting were read.

There were no changes or additions.

Treasurer's Report

Melissa gave the financial report.

It will be filed for annual review.

Total of all funds is: $1565.49

Presidents Council Report

There will not be an all hi-rise picnic this year. Instead, each hi-rise will be given funds to have their own picnic. (Presidents Council will oversee the use of those funds.)

Please do not call Comcast with Wi-Fi issues.

PHA Report

The parking lot will be plowed again.

Ana didn't have anything else to report.

The issue of people not cleaning up after their dogs was brought up. Dog jobs are being seen on the sidewalk again.

A reminder to clean up after your pet was given.

Old Business

No old business carried over.

New Business

The funds left over from the holiday party were discussed. It was asked if they should be put in a slush fund or used for other events.

Pat Kramer made a motion to use the funds for other parties. Lauree Stolarczyk seconded. Motion carried.

Having a Valentines party was discussed. Do we want one?

The overwhelming response was positive. Other February events like Chinese New Year were mentioned.

Pat Kramer made a motion that we have a dessert potluck at 7PM on Valentines Day. (Amended to 6:30PM) Bill McAndrews seconded. Motion carried.

Parking problems around the building were brought up.

The computer was brought up. Lauree asked if Rosetta Stone or a similar program would be provided in the future. Eileen addressed that and said that there was not money in the budget for those programs at present. That may change in the future.

She also said that the systems were put together by volunteer residents and that the PHA has no responsibility for them.

We need to find a way to keep people from damaging the systems. One of the Wi-Fi antennas was just broken and the front USB ports on one computer are damaged.

Carole Waltzing won dime-a-time.

Melissa Pappas won the door prize.

Meeting adjourned
