Seal TV Use Rules

  • Any resident who wishes to may use the TV.

  • Pornographic material may not be viewed.

  • Please remember this is a community TV. It is not your living room.

  • Please do not touch the TV screen. There are already some marks on it and we don't want any more. Touching the bezel or buttons is fine.

  • Please keep the volume at a reasonable level. This means you should not be able to hear the TV outside the TV room and in respect to other occupants of the community room who may not be watching the television. Please be considerate of others in the room who may be studying.

  • Please remember that some programs contain offensive language, may offend residents' cultural or religious beliefs, or may contain suggestive sexual material that some may find offensive. Please post a TV alert form if you are watching something that may be disturbing to others. (Generally something more than PG rated.)

  • Food and drinks are allowed in the TV room. Please put trash in the wastebasket and bring dishes to the kitchen when you are finished.

  • The TV is first come, first served unless you reserve it for a certain time.

  • The TV may be reserved for up to four hours. Please sign up in advance if you would like to reserve the TV for a certain time.

  • If you would like to use the Blu-ray player please see Melissa Pappas. Giving some advance notice would be appreciated. (Although it can be gotten out right away if she is available.)

This is what the TV Alert form looks like:
